Van Monday is a Senior Associate at Rational with experience in strategic communications, public affairs, and business development. He supports clients across healthcare and technology, developing data-driven campaigns that shape public narratives and move policy and business outcomes for clients navigating complex environments. Van also develops and implements AI-powered tools and automations that streamline campaign operations and internal processes across the firm.
Prior to Rational, Van worked at a private investment firm and creative studio at the intersection of technology and entertainment and served as a policy advisor to Encode, a nonprofit dedicated to AI policy and youth technology advocacy.
Originally from Seattle, Van graduated from The College of William & Mary with a B.A. in American Studies and Film and Media Studies, where he served as the Music Director of WCWM 90.9 FM.
