Stephanie Wiswall is a Senior Vice President at Rational, where she guides healthcare and biopharmaceutical clients through complex communications challenges. With 18 years of progressive leadership experience at AstraZeneca, she brings firsthand knowledge of how policy and corporate affairs drive business strategy.
Throughout her career at AstraZeneca, Stephanie worked across the full spectrum of corporate affairs disciplines—public policy, corporate communications (internal, external, and executive), market access communications, and brand communications. She served on both the Market Access and Corporate Affairs leadership teams, where she developed integrated strategies, led cross-functional teams, and represented the company with key external stakeholders including government officials, media, and industry trade associations.
This diverse experience enables Stephanie to connect corporate affairs strategies directly to business needs and maximize impact. She understands how policy dynamics, market access challenges, and communications strategy must work together in the healthcare environment.
Following her tenure at AstraZeneca, Stephanie has provided communications counsel to biopharmaceutical clients ranging from large multinational companies to emerging biotechs.
Her accomplishments include AstraZeneca’s 2018 Circle of Excellence Award and the 2021 BioPharmaceuticals Business Unit Award. She served on the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
Stephanie holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Delaware. She is based in Charleston, South Carolina.
